CT Hunter Safety Course
October 12th and 13th 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CCRRC. You must attend both days.
Registration opens on September 12th.
If you would like to attend the class, you will need to register on the State website; Members and their families may begin to register on September 12th, but not before that date. The course will run each day from 8 am until 4 pm, with a break for lunch.
You must attend both days in order to receive your hunting license. Sunday will be a live fire exercise; all equipment will be provided by the State.
Minimum age to attend is 10 years old. All students under 18 years of age must be registered and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Before you apply, obtain your personal Conservation ID Number on the DEEP website.

If the course is filled when you apply, bring the Conservation ID Number to class on October 12th. We will add club members and their family members to the class list. Maximum number of students is 30.
CCRRC members and their guests may use the range on Oct. 12th and Oct. 13th, however, the range will be closed on October 13th from 12 noon to 4 p.m. for sole use by the students for the live fire portion of the class.
